ASUMI Terms of Use

These Terms govern the ASUMI service, including ASUMI Premium. Your license to the ASUMI application distributed through Apple’s App Store is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless a custom EULA is presented in the App Store.

1. Agreement and provider

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Individual Entrepreneur Vladimir Dmitriev (“ASUMI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the ASUMI application, the website at asumi.app, and related cloud services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, using the Service, or starting a subscription, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you have not reached the age of legal majority in your country, or otherwise cannot enter into a binding agreement on your own, you may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. You may not use the Service if applicable law prohibits it. You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials and device, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by law.

3. What ASUMI provides

ASUMI is a personal and shared-workspace tool for manually organizing financial records, budgets, goals, reminders, shopping lists, analytics, and AI-assisted actions. ASUMI is not a bank, payment provider, broker, accountant, investment adviser, or credit-reporting agency. It does not hold or transfer your money or connect to your financial institution in the current version.

4. Important financial and AI disclaimer

All calculations, forecasts, exchange rates, categorizations, AI responses, and other output are for general informational and organizational purposes only. They may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong and are not financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal, or other professional advice. AI can misunderstand instructions or produce inaccurate content. Review every proposed record and result before relying on it. You remain responsible for financial decisions, tax records, backups, and professional advice appropriate to your circumstances.

5. Workspaces and shared content

A workspace owner may invite members and assign roles. Information placed in shared areas may be visible to authorized members. The owner controls the workspace and is responsible for invitations, member access, and lawful use of shared information. Members must have permission to upload or disclose information about other people. Leaving or losing access to a workspace may not delete content contributed to it because the content remains part of the shared workspace.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, to harm others, or to violate privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights;
upload malware or content you lack permission to use or disclose;
probe, disrupt, overload, bypass limits, circumvent security, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
reverse engineer, copy, modify, resell, sublicense, scrape, or create derivative works from the App except where applicable law expressly permits it;
use automated means to access the Service without our written permission; or
represent AI output as verified professional advice or use it for unlawful or high-impact automated decisions.

7. ASUMI Premium subscriptions

ASUMI Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes payment and billing. RevenueCat validates App Store transactions and helps us manage and restore subscription entitlements; RevenueCat does not charge your payment method. The Weekly plan is USD $1.99 per week with no free trial. The Annual plan is USD $49.99 per year and includes a 7-day free trial for eligible subscribers. Apple displays the final price, currency, eligibility, and included benefits before confirmation; the purchase screen controls if it differs because of storefront pricing, taxes, or offer eligibility.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
The subscription automatically renews for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price Apple shows for the renewal.
You can manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting the App or your ASUMI account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
The Weekly plan has no free trial. The Annual plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible subscribers. Any unused portion of a trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription where permitted by Apple’s rules.
Purchases, refunds, billing disputes, price-change consent, and taxes are handled under Apple’s applicable terms and policies. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

A workspace subscription is purchased and managed by its owner and may unlock benefits for eligible workspace members. Access ends or returns to the free tier when the entitlement expires, is revoked, refunded, or cannot be verified by Apple or RevenueCat. Features and reasonable usage limits may differ by plan and are described in the App.

8. Ownership and license

We and our licensors own the Service, software, design, trademarks, and related intellectual property. Subject to these Terms and Apple’s applicable EULA, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service on supported devices. You retain rights in content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on Apple, RevenueCat, Google Firebase / Google Cloud, OpenAI, and ExchangeRate-API. Their services may be unavailable or subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services beyond the extent required by law. Links do not imply endorsement. Use of the AI assistant must also comply with applicable OpenAI usage policies. RevenueCat’s role and data processing are described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Service changes and availability

We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, improve the Service, or reflect third-party changes. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. If a material change adversely affects a paid subscription, any remedy will be provided as required by law or Apple policy.

11. Termination and deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion at support@asumi.app. You may also initiate deletion in the App by opening Settings, selecting My profile, and choosing Delete Account. Account deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it separately through Apple. We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated breach, security risk, unlawful conduct, or where required by law, with notice where reasonably practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability, and dispute provisions—will survive.

12. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASUMI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD 50. These limits do not apply where prohibited, or to liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Governing law and consumer rights

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the provider’s principal place of business, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer law in your place of residence requires otherwise. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. If you are a consumer in the EEA, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory local protections, you retain those protections and may bring a claim in any forum available under local law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or law. We will post the revised Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. If a material change requires consent, we will request it. Continued use after the effective date otherwise means you accept the updated Terms.
